Located on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes Wine Region of upstate New York, Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards was established in 1984 by Jerry and Elaine Hazlitt. The family itself has been growing grapes and orchard fruit on the same land since 1852. Today, the winery and its vineyards are managed by sixth generation family members Doug Hazlitt and Leigh (Hazlitt) Triner. Affectionately called the Home of the Red Cat, Hazlitt Vineyards offers a casual approach and informal atmosphere to wine lovers everywhere.

Dry Riesling & Semi-Dry Riesling
May is Riesling month! Stop into our tasting rooms and try our Semi-Dry and Dry Rieslings. 
Our Semi-Dry Riesling was voted a 2012 Best Buy by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. It has a floral nose and a palate of peaches and tangerines. This wine defines the Finger Lakes region with sweetness, a firm acid structure and a full, lingering finish.
Our Dry Riesling is the newest Riesling. It has peach and floral aromas that lead into flavors of green apples, which are highlighted by a firm acidity. This wine pairs well with seafood and creamy pasta dishes.
